Role Overview
As a French Teacher, you will teach French language and culture to students across different grade levels under the IB and Cambridge frameworks. You will create interactive lessons that build fluency, comprehension, and appreciation for French culture. The role requires innovation in teaching methods, active classroom engagement, and a deep commitment to helping students achieve linguistic proficiency and intercultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging French lessons aligned with IB and Cambridge standards
- Foster language immersion through interactive and project-based learning
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Integrate technology and modern teaching tools to enhance learning outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular learning experiences
- Support students in developing strong written and oral communication skills
- Contribute to extracurricular and cultural activities related to French studies
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and the school community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in French, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with IB and Cambridge curricula
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Fluency in both spoken and written French
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching
- Ability to use educational technology to support student learning
