Role: Accounting Teacher (IGCSE & A-Level)

As an Accounting Teacher at MISB, you will:

• Teach IGCSE and A-Level Accounting classes covering financial accounting, management accounting, and related concepts
• Design engaging lessons that promote understanding of key accounting principles and real-world applications
• Support students in exam preparation, including Cambridge assessment standards
• Use digital tools and interactive methods to enhance student learning outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and cross-curricular initiatives
• Build strong rapport with students and maintain a positive, supportive learning environment
• Contribute to school events, clubs, and extracurricular activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience teaching Accounting at IGCSE or A-Level
• Familiarity with the British curriculum and Cambridge examination requirements
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
• Ability to effectively integrate educational technologies into teaching
