This school is based in Dubai, UAE and is looking for an Executive Assistant and Administrative Officer.

Position Overview: Sunmarke School is seeking a highly organized and professional Executive Assistant and Administrative Officer to support the school’s senior leadership team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support, ensuring efficient operation and communication within the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Principal and senior leadership team, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing communication and addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain and organize the Principal’s calendar, schedule appointments, and arrange travel logistics.
  • Prepare and edit reports, presentations, and other documents as required.
  • Coordinate and assist with school events, meetings, and conferences, ensuring all logistical arrangements are handled efficiently.
  • Manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring the administrative office operates smoothly.
  • Handle general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining records.
  • Support the HR department with administrative tasks, including onboarding new staff and maintaining personnel records.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of school newsletters, announcements, and other communications.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, maintaining an organized and efficient administrative office.

 

Qualifications and Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Officer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in an educational setting is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with school administration systems and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students, and parents.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
