Role Overview: Art Teacher
As an Art Teacher, you will develop and deliver engaging lessons in visual arts, nurturing students’ creativity, critical thinking, and appreciation for diverse artistic styles and media. You will also collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to enrich cross-curricular learning experiences and contribute to the school’s cultural and artistic environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or international certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Art or a similar subject
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Curriculum is strongly preferred
- Excellent subject knowledge and a portfolio of student-centered, creative lesson plans
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Enthusiastic about teaching in a multicultural, international school setting
- Skilled in integrating technology into art instruction
- Committed to professional development and curriculum innovation
- Effective communicator with students, parents, and colleagues
