Position: Biology Teacher (IGCSE & A-Level)
The successful candidate will teach IGCSE and A-Level Biology and lead students through both theoretical and practical components of the curriculum. The role includes preparing students for Cambridge AS-level practical exams, designing engaging lessons, integrating inquiry-based learning, and encouraging scientific curiosity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or a closely related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or international equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar teaching role
- Hands-on experience with Cambridge Biology practical assessments
- Deep understanding of the British curriculum
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning
- Commitment to professional development and school improvement initiatives
- A collaborative and student-centered teaching approach
