Role: IGCSE Biology Teacher

As a Biology Teacher, you will deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE Biology syllabus. You will foster scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and practical skills in a classroom that encourages student participation and exploration.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach IGCSE Biology to secondary students using hands-on experiments, case studies, and real-world examples
• Design lesson plans that promote analytical thinking and academic rigor
• Assess student progress through varied and formative assessment tools
• Integrate digital tools and technology to support effective learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and student support
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Biology at the IGCSE or equivalent level
• Strong knowledge of international science curricula, especially Cambridge
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
