Job Purpose
The Biology Teacher will support student success by implementing the SABIS® curriculum and methodology. They will inspire academic growth and help students reach their full potential in a dynamic and disciplined learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Biology lessons using SABIS® lesson plans and point system methodology.
• Develop lesson plans as required based on provided pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assignments related to Biology following the departmental guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD) to address student performance and discipline issues.
• Support academically low-performing students with additional guidance and motivation to help them improve.
• Prepare students for external exams by conducting structured revision sessions and reviewing past papers.
• Participate in administrative duties, including invigilation, substituting for absent teachers, organizing student logistics, and traffic control.
• Contribute to student life activities, such as art, open houses, and extracurricular events, in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator (SLC).
• Attend training sessions as requested to enhance understanding of the SABIS® system and teaching methodology.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by school management.

Ideal Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Education, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
• Strong ethical conduct and professional behavior.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
