Role Overview: Business Management Teacher
As a Business Management Teacher, you will deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that align with the IB curriculum. You will challenge students to explore real-world business practices, think analytically, and apply theoretical knowledge to global economic contexts. Your role will involve mentoring students, supporting their IB Internal Assessments (IA), and contributing to the continuous development of the business curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Teach Business Management aligned with the IB Diploma Programme
- Create lesson plans that promote analysis, research, and global perspectives
- Guide students through case studies, business simulations, and project-based learning
- Support students with coursework and exam preparation
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design and school-wide initiatives
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in school events, professional development, and community engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, IB Educator Certificate)
- At least 3 years of experience teaching Business or Economics at the secondary level
- Experience with the IB curriculum is highly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong classroom management and organization skills
- Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning platforms
