Marketing & Communications Manager

The British International School of Jeddah

This school is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and is looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager.

Specific responsibility will be for the strategic and operational development of all aspects relating to the marketing and promotion of the School in order to support and drive pupil recruitment and retention at all levels, through targeted marketing initiatives, activities and sponsorship.

The Marketing Manager will be a true ambassador of the School, providing a professional and appropriately targeted approach to the development of links and partnerships with businesses and community contacts – the purpose and aim being to support mutual development and growth whilst raising the profile and position of the School. The role will involve a high level of personal interaction with local and regional partners whilst ensuring that the values and educational objectives of the School are fully understood and meet with expectations. Due to the international profile of the School, it will be essential for the post holder to be fluent in both English and Arabic, in oral and written form.

The Marketing Manager will be expected to work closely with the Director as well as building a close working relationships with members of the School’s ELT. It is essential to involve and engage teaching, administrative and other support staff in order to fully inform and involve the whole school community in the promotion of the School to as wide an audience as possible.,

The Marketing Manager will be innovative, be able to deign fresh, unique, 360 integrated marketing programs – an “out of the box thinker”. The Marketing

Manager will also be proficient in digital marketing, social media, and omnichannel marketing campaigns.

Qualifications, experience and skills required:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including high standards of written communication, grammar and spelling  English and Arabic
  • Excellent information management skills including high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience in a Marketing Manager role and some evidence of professional development within marketing
  • Prior experience in an international school
