Position: Business Studies Teacher
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will help students understand key business concepts, market dynamics, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. You will prepare learners for IGCSE and A-Level examinations, using engaging, student-centered teaching strategies that promote analytical skills and independent thought.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies for Key Stage 4 and 5
- Integrate real-world case studies and practical activities into the curriculum
- Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level assessments
- Use technology to enhance student learning and classroom interaction
- Support co-curricular business-related initiatives such as clubs or competitions
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-disciplinary projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Passionate about teaching in an international and multicultural context
