Role Overview

As a Cambridge Primary Homeroom Teacher, you will guide students through their early years of education, building strong academic foundations in English, Mathematics, Science, and other core subjects. Beyond academics, you will play a vital role in developing social-emotional skills, encouraging independence, and fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary curriculum
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Develop creative teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Monitor and assess student progress with regular feedback to students and parents
• Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the school’s curriculum and extracurricular programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of teaching experience, ideally in an international or Cambridge school
• Strong knowledge of primary education and homeroom teaching methods
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural international school community
• High proficiency in spoken and written English
• Ability to use technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning
