Role Overview: Cambridge Secondary ESL Teacher
As a Cambridge Secondary ESL Teacher, you will design and deliver engaging lessons that support English language development in alignment with the Cambridge curriculum. Your role involves guiding students to improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, while fostering critical thinking and cross-cultural communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, TESOL, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, CELTA, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English in a secondary setting
- Prior experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum is strongly preferred
- Excellent subject knowledge and a proven track record of effective ESL instruction
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- High level of proficiency in spoken and written English
- Willingness to innovate and adapt in a multicultural environment
- Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Skilled in integrating technology to support and enhance student learning
