Role: Careers Counsellor
As a Careers Counsellor, you will:
- Plan and deliver career development workshops for students, parents, and staff.
- Provide expert guidance on university applications, scholarships, and career pathways.
- Offer one-on-one counseling to help students explore career options and make informed decisions.
- Develop strong relationships with global universities and admissions offices.
- Stay updated on higher education trends, international university entry requirements, and job market developments.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to support students’ academic and professional journeys.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to career counseling and university applications.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Proven experience in career counseling, university admissions, or student guidance.
- Extensive experience in a similar school environment, preferably an international or British curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of global university systems, application processes, and career development trends.
- Passion for mentoring students and helping them achieve their academic and career aspirations.
- Ability to work collaboratively, with a positive and proactive mindset.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
