Role Overview: Chemistry Teacher
The ideal candidate will teach IB MYP and DP Chemistry to secondary students, promote scientific thinking, and inspire curiosity in the classroom. This role requires a deep understanding of chemistry and a strong commitment to innovative, student-centered learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching chemistry at the secondary level
- Familiarity with the IB Curriculum, especially MYP and DP Chemistry
- Strong knowledge of modern teaching strategies and laboratory safety
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proactive and collaborative approach to school-wide initiatives
- Ability to integrate educational technology into lesson planning
