This school is based in Istanbul, Turkey and is looking for a Chemistry Teacher.

Çevre Koleji is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality chemistry education to students, fostering their interest in the subject, and facilitating their academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and effective chemistry lessons in alignment with the school curriculum and standards.
• Student Assessment: Assess student learning using a variety of methods, including tests, quizzes, experiments, and projects, and provide constructive feedback to support their progress.
• Laboratory Work: Conduct laboratory experiments and investigations to help students develop practical skills and deepen their understanding of chemistry concepts.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn.
• Individualized Support: Provide additional assistance and support to students who require extra help to grasp challenging chemistry concepts.
• Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents to update them on students’ progress, achievements, and areas for improvement in chemistry.
• Professional Development: Stay abreast of developments in the field of chemistry education, participate in professional development opportunities, and continuously seek to improve teaching practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Teaching certification or relevant qualifications.
• Previous experience teaching chemistry at the secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of chemistry principles, theories, and laboratory techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and conducive learning environment for all students.
