Role: Computer Science & Digital Literacy Lead (Primary)

Dubai Heights Academy is looking for a motivated and experienced Computer Science & Digital Literacy Lead to deliver high-quality teaching and lead digital initiatives across the Primary phase.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an engaging Computer Science and Digital Literacy curriculum that aligns with the National Curriculum for England.
• Deliver interactive lessons that introduce students to coding, programming, and digital safety.
• Inspire students to explore technology and apply their learning through practical projects.
• Promote digital literacy across the Primary phase, equipping students with essential skills for future learning.
• Lead and support staff in integrating technology into classroom practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning through digital tools.
• Encourage participation in digital competitions, coding clubs, and tech-focused extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• B.Ed. in Computer Science or a related subject, or a degree with PGCE/PGDE and strong subject knowledge.
• Minimum of three years’ experience teaching under the National Curriculum for England.
• Proven experience in promoting digital literacy within a Primary school setting.
• A passion for integrating technology in education and inspiring young learners.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adopting innovative teaching strategies.
