Role Overview: Computer Science Teacher (Cambridge IGCSE)
The ideal candidate will teach Computer Science at the secondary level, covering key concepts such as algorithms, programming (e.g., Python), data structures, and system architecture. You will deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE standards, design engaging assessments, and integrate educational technologies to enhance student learning. You will also participate in school events and contribute to curriculum development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching Computer Science or ICT
- Proficiency in the Cambridge IGCSE Computer Science curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Strong commitment to professional development and innovation in teaching
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken)
