Role Overview: Computer Science Teacher

The Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level curricula. You will support students in developing digital literacy, programming skills, and computational thinking through engaging, project-based learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach secondary-level Computer Science following the IGCSE computer science curriculum
• Plan and deliver practical, interactive lessons using up-to-date technology
• Foster student interest in coding, software development, cybersecurity, and robotics
• Prepare students for internal assessments and international examinations
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across subjects
• Encourage innovation through extracurricular tech clubs or competitions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of two years’ experience teaching Computer Science
