Role: Deputy Head Teacher

The Deputy Head Teacher will support the Head of School in driving academic excellence, staff development, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong instructional leader who can enhance teaching practices, monitor student progress, and uphold high academic standards across the secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support curriculum development and ensure its effective implementation
• Deliver high-quality teaching and mentor staff in best practices
• Lead on student assessment, data analysis, and academic reporting
• Promote a culture of high expectations, innovation, and accountability
• Foster strong communication between staff, students, and parents
• Ensure compliance with international education standards and policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years in a school leadership or senior teaching role
• Demonstrated ability to lead curriculum planning and staff development
• Proven success in classroom teaching and student outcomes
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Strong commitment to professional growth and collaborative leadership
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
