Position: EAL Teacher
The EAL Teacher will play a critical role in supporting students whose first language is not English. The role involves delivering targeted English language instruction, collaborating with class teachers, and helping EAL learners access the mainstream curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual setting
- In-depth knowledge of second language acquisition and effective EAL teaching strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Enthusiasm for teaching in a diverse, international school community
- Proactive, self-motivated, and dedicated to ongoing professional development
- Ability to integrate digital tools into instruction to enhance language learning
