Role Overview

As an Early Years Homeroom Teacher at AIS Osaka, you will nurture children’s curiosity, creativity, and love for learning through inquiry-based teaching methods. You will create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and academic growth in line with the IB PYP philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework.
• Foster inquiry, independence, and problem-solving skills in young learners.

• Contribute to collaborative planning and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in Early Years or primary education.
• Familiarity with international curricula, preferably the IB PYP.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• High proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional growth.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse international school community.
