Position Overview: Early Years Homeroom Teacher
The Early Years Homeroom Teacher will guide students through their formative academic journey by fostering creativity, curiosity, and confidence. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting social-emotional development, and building strong relationships with families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in line with early childhood best practices
- Plan lessons that promote active learning and support holistic development
- Observe and assess student progress regularly to inform instruction
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the school’s early years curriculum
- Communicate effectively with parents and provide regular student updates
- Integrate educational technologies to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in early childhood education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching young learners
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to professional growth
- Ability to support and engage learners in a bilingual environment
