Located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, WCIS continues the educational journey started at its sister school, Learning Jungle International School, which supports students from preschool through Grade 4. Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
As an Early Years Teacher, you will guide young learners through their foundational stages of development using best practices in early childhood education. Your responsibilities will include designing engaging, age-appropriate lessons; supporting students’ emotional and social development; and partnering with parents to ensure a nurturing and consistent learning experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in an early years or preschool setting
- Familiarity with international or bilingual early education environments
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Strong English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in integrating technology into early learning
- A proactive, collaborative approach to curriculum development
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, international community
