Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
As an Early Years Teacher at ISQ, you will cultivate a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. You will play a crucial role in supporting early childhood growth through play-based learning, literacy and numeracy readiness, and social-emotional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with ISQ’s early years framework
- Foster curiosity, independence, and creativity in a safe classroom environment
- Monitor and assess student progress through observation and formative assessments
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child’s development
- Integrate hands-on, sensory, and play-based learning strategies
- Promote positive behavior and strong classroom routines
- Participate in school events and contribute to the early childhood team’s success
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
- Familiarity with American or international curricula
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to teaching
- Passion for working with young learners in a multicultural environment
