Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
The Early Years Teacher will support and guide young learners through their first formal educational experiences. The successful candidate will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment, fostering early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement age-appropriate, inquiry-based learning experiences
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Monitor developmental milestones and communicate progress regularly
- Collaborate with team members on planning and assessment
- Integrate play, exploration, and hands-on activities into daily lessons
- Support students’ independence, creativity, and confidence
- Participate in school events, training sessions, and community-building initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years of experience in early childhood or international schools
- Familiarity with international or American-based curricula
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- High level of spoken and written English proficiency
- Ability to integrate technology and innovation into teaching practice
- Collaborative, enthusiastic, and adaptable to different cultural contexts
