Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
The Early Years Teacher will provide a nurturing and engaging classroom environment for young learners. This role includes delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with British early years standards while fostering positive relationships with children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver interactive, inquiry-based lessons for early years students
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Monitor developmental progress and maintain open communication with parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and school-wide initiatives
- Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning
- Contribute to the school community through extracurricular involvement and events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years’ experience teaching young children
- Strong knowledge of British or international early years curricula
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- High level of English proficiency (spoken and written)
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to professional growth
