Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
As an Early Years Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping children build confidence, independence, and early academic foundations. You will design engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of young learners
- Foster a warm, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
- Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Participate in school events and contribute to the wider school community
- Use technology effectively to support teaching and learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with young children
- Experience with international curricula such as IB PYP preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Passionate about working in a multicultural, international school setting
- Ability to innovate and adapt teaching methods to meet student needs
