Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
As an Early Years Teacher at CISH, you will lead young students in developing foundational skills across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains. You will create an engaging classroom environment that fosters curiosity, independence, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early childhood education best practices
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Observe and assess student progress using formative strategies
- Communicate regularly with parents about student growth and development
- Collaborate with teaching teams to support holistic student learning
- Integrate technology to enhance early years instruction
- Participate in school events, professional learning communities, and ongoing training
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and international curricula
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Motivated, collaborative, and committed to professional growth
- Skilled at using educational technology to support learning
