Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
As an Early Years Teacher, you will create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and early foundational skills. You will guide young learners in their social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based and inquiry-driven learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, and social development
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Implement developmentally appropriate instructional strategies
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching based on individual needs
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary activities
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
- Participate in professional learning communities and school events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in early years or a similar role
- Familiarity with international curricula and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and student success
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Proficient with educational technology and digital tools
- Collaborative, creative, and passionate about early childhood learning
