Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
As the Early Years Teacher, you will nurture young students through engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences. Your role will involve implementing the IB PYP framework, collaborating with colleagues, and creating a warm, stimulating classroom that encourages exploration and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons for early learners
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Integrate the IB PYP philosophy into daily teaching practices
- Observe and assess student progress regularly
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience
- Experience with IB PYP preferred
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English (native level or equivalent)
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development
