The Early Years Centre at Harrow Shanghai provides a caring, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children develop foundational academic, social, and emotional skills. Our curriculum blends the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework with play-based and inquiry-driven approaches that promote creativity, curiosity, and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with EYFS principles
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and support student progress through individualized learning plans
- Communicate effectively with parents to build strong home-school partnerships
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and share best practices
- Promote the Harrow Values throughout the school community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, EYTS)
- At least 2 years of experience in early years or international education
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for working with young children in a diverse, multicultural environment
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Skilled in integrating technology to support early learning
