Role Overview
The Early Years Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to young learners. You will foster curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional development while building essential literacy and numeracy skills. Collaboration with colleagues and active participation in school-wide initiatives are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for Early Years students
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the Cambridge curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians
- Integrate play-based learning and hands-on activities into daily lessons
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and enrichment programs
- Contribute to extracurricular and community-building initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Early Years or a similar role
- Familiarity with international curricula, preferably Cambridge
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural school community
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to continuous professional growth
