Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
As an Early Years Teacher, you will lead a classroom of young learners with creativity and compassion. You will plan developmentally appropriate lessons, engage students through interactive activities, and foster a safe and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lessons that promote literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning
- Create a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere where children feel safe and motivated
- Use play-based and inquiry-based strategies to support child development
- Track and report on student progress, offering targeted support when needed
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices
- Maintain open, effective communication with parents and guardians
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching in early childhood settings
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Early Years curriculum or other international frameworks
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with diverse student communities
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Self-driven, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
