Role Overview: Early Years Teacher
The Early Years Teacher plays a vital role in fostering curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills in young children. You will create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that supports active exploration and joyful learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, inquiry-based lessons
- Create a warm, inclusive, and structured learning atmosphere
- Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative tools
- Communicate clearly with parents and collaborate with fellow educators
- Integrate technology meaningfully into daily instruction
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and professional learning communities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in early years or a similar role
- Familiarity with international or IB curricula preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and culturally responsive
- Excellent spoken and written English skills
- Self-motivated, reflective, and committed to continuous professional growth
