Role: Early Years Teacher

As an Early Years Teacher at KIS, you will:

• Design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that foster curiosity, creativity, and foundational skills
• Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework effectively
• Create a safe and engaging learning environment tailored to the needs of young children
• Promote social-emotional growth and build strong routines and expectations
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support each child’s progress
• Use a range of formative assessments to guide instruction and monitor growth
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians
• Contribute to wider school activities and ongoing curriculum development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching in an early years or similar setting
• Strong understanding of the English National Curriculum and EYFS
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Proactive, collaborative, and committed to professional growth
