Foundation Stage Teacher Role

As a Foundation Stage Teacher at GFS, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Create a nurturing and stimulating environment where young learners feel safe, valued, and inspired.
• Develop activities that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Use creative teaching methods, including storytelling, music, and play-based learning.
• Monitor student progress and provide individualized support to ensure positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to foster strong home-school partnerships.
• Contribute to the school’s vibrant community by participating in extracurricular activities and school events.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
• A recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching in an Early Years or Foundation Stage setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and parents.
• Creativity, patience, and a nurturing approach to inspire young learners.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum for England or international teaching practices is an advantage.
