Role: Economics Teacher (IGCSE & A-Level)

As an Economics Teacher at MISB, you will:

• Teach IGCSE and A-Level Economics classes
• Design engaging lessons covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, and economic theory
• Prepare students for Cambridge exams and practical applications of economic principles
• Use digital tools and innovative teaching methods to enhance student understanding
• Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular projects and school initiatives
• Build strong rapport with students and create a positive, supportive classroom environment
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich student learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience teaching Economics at IGCSE or A-Level
• Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Economics syllabus and assessment standards
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning
• Ability to integrate educational technology effectively into lessons
