Role Overview: Economics Teacher (IGCSE)

As the IGCSE Economics Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE Economics syllabus. You will guide students in analyzing economic theory and applying it to real-world contexts, encouraging critical thinking and data interpretation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and teach engaging, student-centered Economics lessons that align with the IGCSE curriculum
• Encourage inquiry-based learning and classroom discussions on current economic issues

• Develop differentiated instruction strategies to accommodate varied learning needs
• Maintain regular communication with parents and school leadership regarding student progress

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Education, or a related field
• Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)

• Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE Economics curriculum
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
