Role Overview: Economics Teacher
We are seeking a qualified Economics Teacher to teach Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Economics. The ideal candidate will bring subject expertise, classroom engagement, and a commitment to excellence. You will design and implement lessons that challenge students intellectually while supporting their individual learning needs. This role also involves regular communication with parents and collaboration with fellow staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related field
- Valid teaching license or equivalent professional certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE)
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience
- Experience with the Cambridge International Curriculum preferred
- Strong command of economic theory, policy, and real-world application
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Self-driven, collaborative, and committed to professional development
- Skilled in using educational technology to enhance instruction
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage students, staff, and parents
