Role: Economics Teacher
We are looking for an Economics Teacher who can:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with international curricula such as IGCSE and A-Level or equivalent
- Inspire critical thinking and foster a deep understanding of economic principles, global financial systems, and current economic issues
- Prepare students for external examinations, ensuring strong academic performance
- Use a range of teaching methods and technology to support different learning styles
- Create a classroom environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and respect
- Monitor and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments
- Communicate regularly with parents and school leadership on student achievements and needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and school-wide initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Economics at the secondary level
- Strong command of curriculum frameworks such as Cambridge IGCSE, AS, and A-Level
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working in an international and multicultural school environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Fluent in written and spoken English
