Role Overview: Economics Teacher
The successful candidate will teach Economics to upper secondary students, including IGCSE and A-Level classes. You will design engaging, real-world learning experiences that help students grasp key economic concepts and analytical skills. You will also support academic achievement, student well-being, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Economics lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level frameworks
- Design creative instructional activities that make complex economic theories accessible
- Assess student progress using a range of formative and summative tools
- Encourage inquiry-based learning and critical thinking in the classroom

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Education, or a related field
- Recognized teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience teaching Economics at the secondary level
- Strong familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
