Role: Economics Teacher

As an Economics Teacher at AIS, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons aligned with IGCSE or equivalent international standards
• Foster analytical thinking and a practical understanding of economic principles
• Create lesson plans that meet the academic needs of diverse learners
• Monitor and assess student performance using formative and summative assessments
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design and interdisciplinary learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a closely related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent)
• Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at the secondary or IGCSE level
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom leadership
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
