Role Overview: ELA Teacher (Middle/High School)
We are seeking an enthusiastic English Language Arts teacher who can inspire students across middle and high school levels. The ideal candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons that enhance students’ reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills. A strong understanding of American or international curricula is essential. You will also collaborate with colleagues to support student progress and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in middle or high school ELA
- Strong grasp of secondary-level English Language Arts standards
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Experience working in international school settings preferred
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
- Ability to integrate technology to support teaching and learning
- A collaborative, proactive, and student-centered teaching approach
