Role Overview
The Elementary Class Teacher will teach core subjects while promoting creativity, critical thinking, and character development. Teachers are expected to integrate technology into learning, design interactive lessons, and guide students in both academic and personal growth. This role also includes collaborating with colleagues, supporting school activities, and engaging with parents as partners in their children’s education.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach core elementary subjects within a U.S.-based curriculum
- Create engaging, student-centered lessons that encourage inquiry and problem-solving
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum planning and school initiatives
- Support extracurricular activities and community events
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or Christian school setting
- Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and effective pedagogy
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to professional growth and a passion for Christian education
