Role Overview: Elementary English Teacher
KIS seeks an enthusiastic and qualified Elementary English Teacher to deliver engaging and effective English instruction to primary-level students. The teacher will play a key role in developing students’ literacy, communication, and critical thinking skills, while nurturing a love for reading and learning.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with international standards
- Build foundational literacy skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and school initiatives
- Participate in school events and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
- Strong knowledge of elementary English language instruction
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
- High level of spoken and written English fluency
- Self-motivated, creative, and committed to continuous improvement
