Role: Homeroom Teacher (Elementary School)

As a Homeroom Teacher, you will:

• Deliver a structured and engaging instructional program aligned with the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and AISK’s curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and inquiry-based classroom environment that supports academic and personal development.
• Implement effective teaching strategies and assessments to track student progress.
• Use technology and modern teaching tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with faculty, students, and parents to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.
• Guide students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Maintain accurate student records and provide regular progress updates to parents and school leadership.
• Engage in professional development to stay updated with best teaching practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Valid teacher certification or licensure
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience
• Experience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) preferred
• Strong classroom management skills
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability
• Proficiency in using technology for teaching and learning
