Role Overview: Elementary Homeroom Teacher
As an Elementary Homeroom Teacher, you will create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment. You will deliver high-quality instruction in core subjects including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Your lessons will reflect inquiry-based learning, positive reinforcement, and differentiation to meet a variety of learning styles.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the IB PYP and US Standards
- Track and support student progress using formative and summative assessments
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to foster student growth
- Promote a classroom culture that values respect, responsibility, and risk-taking
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into daily instruction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a primary or elementary teaching role
- Familiarity with IB PYP and/or American curriculum frameworks
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
- Fluent in spoken and written English
