Role Overview: Elementary Math Teacher
As an Elementary Math Teacher, you will deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate instruction to young learners. Your lessons will foster mathematical fluency, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities, collaborative tasks, and digital integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach mathematics to elementary students using U.S. standards and benchmarks
- Create differentiated instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners
- Incorporate manipulatives, technology, and visual models to deepen understanding
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to design cross-disciplinary learning experiences
- Communicate with parents and provide consistent academic updates
- Contribute to the school community through events and initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or Mathematics-related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or U.S. state license)
- Minimum of 2 years of elementary-level math teaching experience
- Familiarity with U.S. or international school systems
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in integrating technology into instruction
