Role Overview: Elementary Science Teacher
As an Elementary Science Teacher, you will lead engaging lessons that encourage hands-on experimentation, scientific inquiry, and real-world application. You will support students in developing a strong foundation in the sciences through interactive activities and a cross-disciplinary approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and teach standards-based science lessons for elementary students
- Use age-appropriate strategies to explain scientific concepts clearly
- Foster a classroom environment that promotes curiosity and discovery
- Collaborate with other teachers to align curriculum and enrich learning experiences
- Implement a variety of formative and summative assessments to measure student growth
- Maintain regular communication with parents on student progress
- Integrate educational technology and digital tools into daily instruction
- Participate in school events, committees, and professional development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching science at the primary level
- Familiarity with American or international curricula
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Eagerness to contribute to a collaborative and culturally diverse team
- Willingness to support school-wide initiatives and continuous improvement
