Role Overview

The Elementary Teacher (Grade 3) will design and deliver engaging lessons that support students’ intellectual, social, and emotional development. The teacher will create an inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, collaborate, and take ownership of their learning. This role requires someone who embraces inquiry-based education, values teamwork, and is committed to innovation in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons aligned with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative learning
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and provide feedback
• Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community
• Contribute to curriculum development and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB school
• Strong knowledge of elementary education and curriculum design
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for working in a multicultural, diverse school community
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and innovation in teaching
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
